Kris & Co. is led by Kris Reynolds, an award-winning Chief People Officer, HR strategist, and executive coach with over 25 years of experience helping organisations navigate complex people challenges with clarity, humanity, and commercial acumen.

Kris has spent her career working across diverse industries—including healthtech, retail, manufacturing, professional services, education, and not-for-profit—partnering with C suite executives, boards, people/line managers, and HR teams to deliver real-world people solutions that drive business performance.

​

From leading global HR strategy at publicly listed multinationals to coaching emerging leaders in fast-growth start-ups, Kris has built a reputation for her sharp thinking, practical approach, and deep understanding of what makes organisations—and people—thrive.

 

She currently serves as a part time Chief People Officer at Planet Innovation, where she helped scale the workforce from 70 to over 550 people across Australia and the US, while championing a people-first culture that achieved ENPS scores of up to 100 and multiple national HR awards.

Earlier roles saw Kris delivering transformational change in executive roles at Nufarm, NAB, Zoos Victoria, Invensys, and ACI, where she managed large restructures, introduced global talent frameworks, and guided leadership teams through complex industrial relations landscapes. She has advised on M&A activity, board performance, culture diagnostics, succession planning, executive remuneration, and employee engagement strategy—often during periods of significant change.

Qualifications & Accreditations

Kris’s approach is grounded in both practical experience and extensive academic training. Her credentials include:

  • Master of Leadership, University of Southern Queensland

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Labour/Management Relations (HRM Stream), Monash University

  • Bachelor of Arts (Psychology & Sociology), Swinburne

  • Executive and Personal Coach, College of Executive Coaching (ICF Accreditation Track)

  • Accredited in a wide suite of psychometric tools, including:

    • SHL OPQ and cognitive ability tools

    • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI Step I & II)

    • Saville WAVE, TalentQ, CPI 260, Team Management Systems, Hay Emotional Intelligence (ECi/360), CCL Benchmarks, and Skillscope 360

  • DDI Targeted Selection Accredited Trainer

  • Former Fellow of the Australian HR Institute (FAHRI)

How Kris Works

​

Kris is known for her unique blend of professionalism, pragmatism, and warmth. She’s been called:

Outside of Work

​

Kris is a devoted mum to teenagers and a (sometimes harassed/hassled) Golden Retriever owner. She’s fuelled by skinny cappuccinos, a little bit weirdly obsessed with productivity podcasts and AI, and very partial to chocolate, travel, and champagne—preferably all at once.
